		<description>I do agree on the importance of code readability but I think that pushing this to the extreme might actually render your code more difficult to read. For example I don&#039;t think the introduction of an additional function is justified in the case described above. But it would be a different story if the new function implemented more work than a straightforward one-liner. In that case it would make sense, and would furthermore reduce code duplication.
